This is my middle child.
He works in a refinery in Texas. A refinery that almost blew up last week. An entire town was evacuated the danger of explosion was so high.
...seems hydrogen was leaking at a rapid rate.
Thankfully, he was off that day... but there wouldn't have been a safe place had he been there. I try not to think about what can happen there..
So mommas,
don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys or work in refineries.

There is no way in the world you can old enough to have that boy!
Haha.. yep. He's mine. We even waited a couple years before we had kids. (I got married right out of highschool... crazy girl.)
Both my parents always seemed younger than they were...
Having abandoned the C&W music genre years ago, it's not surprising that I never heard of Bobby Pinson before. But this song holds some very relevant touchstone statements from my life. And MOMMA DON'T LET YOUR COWBOYS GROW UP TO BE BABIES. You done good rearing your cowboy, Wrexie.
Thanx Warrior.
Yep. He's a good, tough cowboy. I can't help it...I'm really proud of him, he's held onto the values I instilled in him :) Now he thinks I'm too easy on his little bro. haha.
We lived about 2 miles from the gas terminals for Sinclair, Pure, and Standard Oil. The place where the trucks reloaded several time a day and 8 huge gas tanks. One sprung a lead and the area 3 miles around was evacuated. My dad, and the other drives were busy driving in and out trying to move the gas to auxiliary locations. I was nine or ten. Wasn’t scared. Was excited. I wanted to ride with him (which I could do some times.)
Yep. I know a couple boys like that...
This one learned to rappel last summer. So now he can hang from the rafters in the refinery. Yahoooie! (I don't know where they get it from??)
