A Brief Winter Interlude

It snowed.

There's an exquisite beauty in the way snow turns the dried grasslands into a frosted masterpiece... how it conforms to the sandy waves of the desert floor, revealing textures and secret tunnels that had been hidden by dirt and rock.
Then, as the clouds part, the mountains present an encore with their pristine white awakening that takes the breath away of its spellbound admirers, leaving them to bask in its radiant majesty.

Snow in the mountains is one thing, but snow and desert together in the same sentence just doesn't sound right.

It's weird. But I love it! Today was almost 80 degrees... oh yeah.
