Gatling

This is Gatling, the glossy snake.
Yeah, I named him ...because he gets to stay.
He takes care of the bad snakes ...and mice.
I think he moved his snake den though.
The bug guy sprayed a lot to get rid of the scorpions.
I haven't found his new home yet.

He looks like a rattlesnake at first glance, huh?

Yep.  He got my adrenaline flowing! ...then he hid
behind my kids' ghillie suit to make it even more fun.

Smart little snake.

It didn't look like any Rattler I've seen. But I wasn't seeing it live either...
Nice photo though.

He looked too much like that 'bad boy' I posted up above. I jump back first and ask questions later. yikes.

He was cool lookin' in his desert ACU's...

A "Sniper Snake"? Did he eat MREs?

AFCG- Yeah... I didn't quite get it all picked up this winter. I found a big black widow under some roof tiles this spring.

Ha! You launch fireworks from that thing, I bet I can see 'em clear over here.

Anon- he eats MousREs. :D

Kudos to you for your adventurous move to the desert. I love it out there but I hate snakes..especially poisonous ones and slimey human ones.
I signed up to follow you. Stop by my place whenever you're hungry for pie.

Boomer: bad snakes are bad snakes. period. I agree.
Thanks for the visit. I'll come by to check out your pie.
